Eliud Kipchoge Proposed as NOCK`s Male Athletes Representative

Two-time Olympic champion and a great marathon ranner in the world`s history

Eliud Kipchoge was proposed as the  National Olympic Committee of Kenya’s (NOCK) Male Athlete Representative. Eliud Kipchoge has been proposed by a team led by Shadrack Maluki and Barnaba Korir. Notably, he will succeed Rugby icon Humphrey Khayange.

In addition, Eliud  Kipchoge`s illustrious career spans a decade marked by exceptional accomplishments that have cemented his legacy in athletics.

Moreover, the two-time Olympic Champion and world record holder is highly celebrated for his consistency and determination. Kipchoge`s historic sub-two-hour marathon achievements exemplify his mantra, “No Human is Limited”.

Transitioning into this role would allow Eliud Kipchoge to inspire athletes beyond the track.

Eluid Kipchoge`s  Career History

Eliud Kipchoge, born on November 5, 1984, in Kapsisiywa, Kenya, is widely regarded as the greatest marathon runner of all time. He has achieved two Olympic gold medals in the Marathon at the Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020 games.

Kipchoge also holds three of the ten fastest marathon times ever recorded.

His most iconic achievement came during the INEOS 1:59 Challenge in Vienna 2019, where he became the first human to run under two hours. Kipchoge clocked an official time of 1:59.40.

Additionally, in 2022, Kipchoge set a world record in the Berlin Marathon with a time of 2:01.09.

Eliud Kipchoge has won 15 out of his 17 marathons.
